Top 5 must try food at Beeffalo by Hotrocks

A homey place and a homey feel, who doesn’t want that? My husband and I have been so much adventurous when it comes to eating and suddenly we just stop munching on street foods and we just wanted to taste something usually but a little different, but not really a fusion kind of food.

I’ve discovered this newly opened Homey and Family themed resto in Addition Hills and I never regret the heavy traffic I braved getting into their super nice and warm welcome.

Actually this newly opened resto is their second Beeffalo, they have their first resto in Marikina and been operating for quite sometime now.

I don’t want you to wait any longer, here’s the top 5 must try food at Beefalo:

Beeffalo’s Seafood and Corn Chowder P135
Rate: 4.5/5

The seafood chowder is over the top! It has a generous amount of seafoods and corn in the chowder and this is the very first time I liked a seafood based soup/chowder. I really don’t like the fishy or shellfish smell and after taste, but they did a great job on making me finish the chowder by myself 🙂

Beeffalo’s Biscuit pizza in garlic and mushroom P180 (good for 2-3
Rate: 4/5

I don’t like mushroom and garlic, but then again they made me realize how these two ingredients can connive and make you ask for another slice. by the way it’s super super thin much thinner than chapati bread. Its super crispy and cheesy and the pizza sauce is just too right for you to taste the ingredients on the pizza.

Beeffalo’s Grilled Salmon with java rice (not yet in the menu)
Rate: 4/5

Here’s another food that I don’t really eat, FISH. Any kind of fish, its just that I really don’t like the fishy smell (malansa) and even the taste of it, but then again they made me realize that I can eat fish even if it wasn’t my mom’s. I was literally so afraid to try fish from restos since I really don’t know how they handle it. The salmon was cooked to perfection and it’s crispy on the outside but very soft on the inside.

Beeffalo’s Brazo de mercedes P 125
Rate: 4.5/5

This is so far the brazo de mercedes that I’ve tasted that’s not super sweet and you’ll still feel how airy the wait eggs on this sumptuous dessert is and the yolk in the middle is just the right sweetness and this is better paired with coffee.

Beeffalo’s Chicken bbq
Rate: 5.5/5

You may think that the rating is over rated and you may also think that I am biased in giving this dish a 5.5, but you need to taste it and its sauce and that’s the time you’ll realize that this dish deserve it. I was just transported on my childhood when I ate this and their chicken bbq is much more tastier that the well known chicken bbq chain. I don’t like sauce for bbq’s because it change the taste of the dish, but their sauce is just over the top that you’ll ask for another round of sauce. Better try this one, you’ll never regret going to their resto and just want to keeping coming back.

That’s my top 5 must try at Beeffalo, but here’s other dishes from their menu:

Beeffalo’s Biscuit pizza in margherita P185
Rate: 3.5/5

This pizza is same as the pizza above, it’s super crispy and cheesy and you’ll love the combination of tomato and basil.

Beeffalo’s baby back ribs full rack P825
Rate: 4.5/5

Their ribs is just ripping of the bones, you’ ll love to munch on this and get dirty hands. The sauce is different from other ribs sauce because they are the one who made this from scratch.

Beeffalo’s Porterhouse (250g) P475
Rate: 4/5

It’s super tender and cooked evenly and what’s more exciting about this dish its just salt and pepper and nothing else or maybe they have a secret herbs and spices 🙂 The mashed potato is made from real potatoes and the texture is super silky and also it has chunks of potatoes which made this mashed a hit!

Beeffalo’s buttermilk Fried chicken with creamy gravy P265
Rate: 3.5/
5

This dish can be served with mashed potato or garlic rice. The chicken is well cooked as you can see the coating is golden brown and the gravy is super thick and you’ll ask for more. Maybe this just needs a little more tweak on the plating. I thin the beans and carrots can be a fit on the side of the dish than the tomatoes and cucumber.

Beeffalo’s Nachos (dips: Salsa or Spinach) P 175
Rate: 3.5/5

There’s nothing special with the chips, but with the dip I can say that you’ll love the spinach dip. I can’t believe that its spinach, since you cannot taste it I promise! (This is for people who are afraid to eat veggies)

Beeffalo’s Taco bbq salad (good for 2) P315
Rate: 3.5/5

If you love salad, this one will surely tickle you tastebuds as this made taco/nachos much healthier and you’ll be surprise on the garlic ranch and bbq sauce kick on your mouth.

Beeffalo’s Dulce de leche cheesecake P165
Rate: 4/5

Super sweet? No! The cheesecake is super tasty and the cream above is not super sweet nor not too bland, it has the right amount of sweetness.

A very homey and peaceful place for families and friends to dine in.
