Every year SM Malls always do a Christmas light parade and fireworks, this year the Philippines’ biggest and most iconic mall held their biggest Christmas launch with the most loved and popular cartoon characters. A simultaneous Christmas launch happened this weekend as they first unveil SM North EDSA’s Christmas centrepiece and followed by the rest of the SM branches nationwide.
The theme of Christmas this year at SM North EDSA is “ A Season of Magic”. They showcased different Disney characters, of course featuring Mickey and his best buddy Donald Duck. What is very extravagant and beautiful is the centrepiece a big Christmas tree with Mickey’s ensemble, plus a village named after Mickey’s gang.
“ Nothing is more heartwarming than seeing these starry-eyed kids have their moments with no less than Mickey and Donald,” said Jonjon San Agustin, SM Supermalls’ Senior Vice President for Marketing. “ This is, after all, a season of giving for everyone, and that is what SM is offering throughout the country for the entire Christmas holidays.”
