It has been two years since ROKU first opened its doors to the Katipunan crowd, which has now become a go-to Japanese place for students, families, and officemates.Now the time has come for them to expand and serve a wide variety of Japanese dishes worthy of everybody’s taste buds.What better place than TriNoma!
The opening event is slated to be a night of good company and great food accompanied by up and coming performers, Curtismith and St.Vincent & The Grenadines.Friends and patrons from the Ayala top management, celebrities, bloggers, and media will also grace the event. And of course, what’s a restaurant launch without food? Lots of it.ROKU’s pork gyoza which are made daily from scratch, original recipes of gyudon and chicken teriyaki, and fusion rolls such as the firecracker, dream roll, S.S.roll, and Sailboat maki.
They will also feature the Chashu Tonkotsu Ramen which is part of their Tonkotsu Ramen Series specially created by Japanese Ramen Master, Kenji Dobashi of famous ramen house Kagari in Ginza, Japan. It consists of a thick and creamy pork bone broth that has been boiled for 12 hours, chashu slices that were slow-cooked and marinated for 8 hours, and finished off with tasty Aji tamago and fresh leeks. Aside from chashu pork, the tonkotsu broth comes with the choice of ebi tempura or a spicy chashu Tantanmen version.
These Japanese favorites with a modern take by is definitely a must try! There is always something for everyone in ROKU!
