The prima Ballerina, Lisa Macuja-Elizalde and the country’s premier ballet company, Ballet Manila is opening their 21st season starting this August. They will be paying adulation to the people who have been supporting the cause of Ballet Manila which is giving ballet to the people and providing people a good ballet dance performance.
This season’s theme or name is Revenge of the Classics, which will feature three classic and one contemporary ballet dance which will surely won the hearts of every Filipino theatre goer.
I have the chance to get a glimpse of what’s in store for their 21st season and I was really in awe awhile ago because it was my first time to watch a ballet dance live and I’ve been admiring Ms. Lisa Macuja-Elizalde ever since I was young and I’ve been dreaming to become a ballerina before, but I have a love-hate relationship with martial arts.
