For showing what it takes to become amazing Filipina mothers and wives who are not afraid to step up and shine, 19 gorgeous finalists from all over the country are now set to vie for the much-coveted Mrs. Philippines-Globe 2015 title.
According to Mrs. Philippines-Globe national pageant director Morena Carla Cabrera-Quimpo, “This year’s Mrs. Philippines-Globe candidates embody the real strength of a Filipina mother – a woman who’s not confined by stereotypes and is strong, generous and bold enough to fulfil her responsibilities as a mother and a wife without compromising her own dreams.”
Founded in 1996, Mrs. Globe is touted as one of the biggest international beauty pageants for married women and single mothers. It celebrates not just beauty, goodwill, and tourism awareness through pageantry and competition; but more importantly, it promotes and supports the admirable strength of mothers by giving them a chance to reinvent and unleash the better versions of themselves, and to communicate the deeper strength of every woman.
This year, Mrs. Philippines-Globe’s set of lovely candidates includes Victoria Harnisch, Joana Krisanta La Madrid, Maria Aishelle Hwang, Sherry Lou Villaseñor, Yolanda Llamas, Joann Rosales, Jhunie Grace Lagman, Maria Engracia Maniago, Jonalyn Agustin, Ruby Liboon, Jennifer Umali, Marilou Weir, Estrella Bobruk, Roscel Tala, Joe Ann Smith, Alodia Solis, Mary Ann Ternora and Grace Albonia.
The Mrs. Philippines-Globe 2015 coronation night will take place on May 31, 2015 at Moonbay Beach, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, where the grand winner will receive up to PhP 200,000.00 worth of prizes. She will also represent the Philippines in the prestigious Mrs. Globe 2016 World Finals at Shenzhen, China in November 2015.
Aside from competing for the title of Mrs. Philippines-Globe 2015, the candidates will also vie for the coveted Woman of Substance title alongside other special awards such as L’Oreal Woman of Worth, Solane Mother of the Year, Calchews Supermodel Mom of the Year, Working Mom Career Woman of the Year, Mrs. Bio Oil, Mrs. Ocean Adventure, Most Beautiful Face, Mrs. Body Beautiful, Best Talent of the Year, Life Story Award, Darling of the Press Award, Charity of the Year, Achievement of the Year, Personality of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Most Elegant Woman and Husband of the Year
Now on its 4th year, this prestigious pageant continues to recognize married women of substance; mothers and single moms as movers of society, and a symbol of inspiration, and beauty through their achievements, life stories and charitable causes.
With a vision that is focused on empowerment, Mrs. Philippines-Globe (MPG) also launched its newest online store for a cause. It offers elegant charms and accessories made from indigenous materials, where part of the proceeds will be donated to the W.I.N. Foundation, an outreach that specializes in self-esteem recovery for women and children faced with all kinds of abuse – physical, emotional, financial or spiritual.
