On the right side of the phone (facing me) you’ll see the volume rocker and the power button and on the other side is the sim tray. Above the phone you’ll see the ZenEar slot and at the bottom is the charging port and the speaker.

The Display, UI, OS and Apps

The new ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie is powered by an android OS, Nougat 7.1.1 and is also has a new UI (User Interface) unlike the previous Selfie the new UI has much fluidity and they have a new rounded icons, though you can change that in the themes. The new ZenFone selfie is very light and has a 5.5 inch screen.

The new ASUS ZenFone Selfie has pre-installed social apps like Facebooka and Instagram. It also have the app on the ZenFone 4 series the Selfie Master, inside it is the beauty live and other photo and video apps that you’ll need.

The Battery

The New Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie is packed with 3000 mAh non-removable lithium-ion battery. Which can last up to 2-3 days on standby.

We did a battery test using Antutu Battery test and started the testing around 8:23 P.M. with 89% of battery life and the test ended at around 12:42 A.M. with just 10% battery life. Though we got a little worried on the phone temperature during the test because it went up to 40 degrees celsius.

The Camera

I think the main feature of the new ZenFone 4 Selfie is the front camera which is a 20MP + 8MP dual camera. If you’ll remember before the Zenfone 2 Selfie has the same camera pixel of its rear camera. They have up their game and did a dual front camera to do that selfie bokeh and not just bokeh, it also helps you capture a much wider group selfie or the wefie. The front camera also comes with the led flash of its own.

For the rear camera it has a 16MP which is good, but when we did sample shots on low light ambiance the photo is a bit pixilated. Though this phone’s main feature is the front camera, it will sure can compete in the market.

Can’t wait to try the Selfie Pro and see what’s the difference from the Selfie.
