ASUS ZenBook UX305CA is a beautiful 13.3 inches laptop. It has a body like my MacBook Air, but mine is 11.6 inches only. Let us see if ASUS can compete with MacBook.
Package Inclusion and Design
The ASUS ZenBook UX305CA comes with the box, unit, charger and warranty. (See photos below)
The ASUS ZenBook UX305CA is a very sleek and simple notebook, but it has an aluminium body. It also have palm rest, a vey soft keyboard (softer than my MacBook) and touch pad. The ASUS trademark logo can be found inside the laptop and outside. The display is 13 inches which is very nice for watching my favourite series. And what’s really amazing about this unit is that is very thin and light weight which is good for people with back problems and you can go anywhere you want with your ASUS ZenBook UX305CA.
Since ASUS UX305CA is a light weight notebook it doesn’t have a cd-rom, but you can see three usb 3.0 ports 2 on the left and 1 on the right. Plus, it has an SD card reader and HDMI port.

The camera of ASUS ZenBook UX305CA is a little bit tiny than the MacBook Air. It is 1.2 megapixel which has more noise that the Air, but has more vivid colours than the other one.
Photo comparison of ZenBook and MacBook
I think I have a different angle with the two photos, but you can see the difference between the two. The one on the top is the photo taken by ASUS ZenBook while the one below is taken by MacBook. The one on top has a lot of noise, but has deep-colour unlike the one below which I look pale.

If your in for light weight, endurance and can last all day long laptop, ZenBook UX305CA is the one for you.
Keyboard Softness and Trackpad responsiveness
The keyboard is very soft than MacBook Air, but I am having hard time typing since I am used to using MacBook. It’s been awhile since I use windows (operating system) laptop. The ZenBook UZ305CA keyboard does not have light like the MacBook which I think is useful for me since I have a very poor eyesight specially at night.
The Touch pad is very responsive and slippery which makes it easier to zoom in, zoom out and flick a photo or a tab. The ZenBook does have trackpad options: No delay, Short delay, Medium delay and Long delay.
Trackpad / Touch pad
The ASUS ZenBook UX305CA uses ICE Power and Bang & Olufsen Technology. It gives a boost on the sound and a much clearer and louder sound.
I love the ASUS ZenBook battery life because it lasted up to over 6 hours using the internet and while Kweky is watching YouTube.
Will I trade my MacBook Air for ASUS ZenBook UX305CA?
My overall experience with ASUS ZenBook UX305CA is an awesome and adventurous one. Maybe you are asking why? It’s been awhile since I last use Windows as operating system and also the normal keyboard with CTRL+ALT+Delete. It is much bigger than my laptop, but I am so much in love with ZenBook because I can watch my favourite series with 0% contrast, but it’s still have a very vivid colours (I am not a fan of very bright screen).
The endurance and over the top power of the battery also amazes me because I can use it for over 6 hours without charging because whenever I go out I usually bring with me my charger which can add up to the weight of my bag which is the downside of the other brand.
The ZenBook’s design can also compete with MacBook because they both have an aluminium body. I am not knowledgeable with processors, but I find ZenBook fast and have a very responsive tabs when using the internet and watching series online.
So would I trade my MacBook for ZenBook? Yes! not just because it’s much bigger than my 11.6 MacBook but because it’s light weight, have long battery life and gorgeous like my MacBook, but has a lot in store for a new user like me. If your in for light weight, endurance and can last all day long laptop, ZenBook UX305CA is the one for you (and for me).
