Who says being a mommy is a sad and devastating feeling?  Who says being a mommy will let you forget the fashion sense within you?  And who says mommies can’t be a beauty queen in our own right? I met 20 of the most fabulous, sophisticated and beautiful mommies who are competing for the title Mrs. Philippines Globe 2015.

I can say being a mom sometimes…, or even most of the time sucks out the fashion and style within us, plus we always think about our family’s well being first rather than buying a Prada bag (oh gosh I love that brand!).  But all of these changes my perspective of being a mom.  I realized that I can be fab and beautiful (feeling beautiful, giggles) while being a full time mom/ entrepreneur/ blogger.  I learned a lot of things from mommies of my age and even from the older ones that being fab, chic and beautiful in our own ways is very important.  It also does not necessarily mean that we forget the needs of our family.  But it’s just that we should also love and give time to ourselves, since we are the one who serves as guide to our kids in their life’s journey and also we provide help and support to our hubbies in leading our family.

Mrs. Philippines Globe aims to change mommies lives by giving them the time and the chance to feel that they should never forget themselves and they should be audacious and strong.  The pageant also aims to redefine and strengthen their personality and to touch other peoples lives with their beauty and wit.  The aspirants and the reigning Queens are also helping charitable institutions to inspire and help those who are in need.

Mommies or should I say women are really on the top of the game as mommies and also a better half, we should never forget that we should feel and be beautiful inside and out.  And advance Happy Mother’s Day to all!
