I’ve been hearing Plana Forma since I was in college, but I haven’t tried it yet. I am a Tae Kwon Do Jin and most of the time I hurt my knee whenever I compete. That’s why when I started working, I stopped teaching and competing to give my knees a break. Then a friend told me to take Pilates class, since most injured athletes do that. So, I did with a fear of can I exercise again after I got an injury and gain a lot of weight due to steroids? And yes! I did it from 80 kgs. to 65 kgs, but that was last January.

I stopped again due to busy schedule and very high travel expenses since I was going to BGC twice in a week. Then, I got invited to the opening of Plana Forma. I didn’t know that they have closed the Centris branch long time ago and thanks to Ms. Monique for bringing Plana Forma closer to us QC Dwellers.
So maybe you’re thinking what is Plana Forma? Plana FORMA is a total-body workout that uses an exciting technique inspired by New York workouts, combining yoga, dance, pilates and barre. It involves target-specific exercises that work on the abdominals, thigh, hips and seat muscles while strengthening the back muscles and working the hamstrings.

Upon the inauguration last June 1 they also treated guest and bloggers like me to a 55 minutes of full workout, but unfortunately I haven’t tried it since I also have a meeting that day. But, don’t worry I will be back and try Plana Forma soon and I’ll let you watch my fitness journey with them.
